Data protection and health research – what does the legislation mean for patients, the public and the research community?

The Irish Health Research Forum (IHRF) held an event entitled GDPR and Health Research: Stakeholder Voices in November 2018. It brought together patient advocates, the research community, health research funders, medical research charities, the healthcare industry, the Department of Health, the HRB, the HSE and many others to discuss the new Health Research Regulations and their implications.
