National Frailty Education Programme Report: The Fundamentals of Frailty

The National Frailty Education is an accumulation of the work of healthcare professionals from research and practice, who understood that colleagues outside of gerontology and older person’s specialist care were unfamiliar with the concept of frailty as a long-term condition. The end product “The Fundamentals of Frailty” is an evidence-based programme, developed by a team of subject matter experts to ensure that all those who work with older people understand the fundamental aspects of frailty and the difference their care can make to outcomes for this vulnerable population.
